Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

Quality Grill Parts is committed to making our content accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities. This page explains our accessibility approach and how to report issues.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. This includes:

  • Sufficient color contrast (text against backgrounds meets 4.5:1 minimum for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Keyboard navigation support (all interactive elements reachable via Tab key, Enter to activate)
  • Screen reader compatibility (semantic HTML, alt text on images, ARIA labels where needed)
  • Resizable text up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements

2. What We've Implemented

Specifically, we've built the Site with these accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Alt text on all images with meaningful content
  • Descriptive link text (no "click here" or "read more" without context)
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and forms
  • Focus indicators on all clickable elements (visible amber outline)
  • WCAG-compliant color contrast on all text
  • FAQ accordions accessible via keyboard
  • Skip-to-content links where appropriate
  • Logical reading order for screen readers

3. Known Limitations

We're working to improve accessibility continuously. Known areas where we may not yet meet full WCAG 2.1 AA:

  • Some embedded videos may lack captions or transcripts (where they exist, we're working to add)
  • Recipe images don't currently include comprehensive alt text describing cooking stages (improving)
  • Some complex comparison tables may not yet be fully accessible to screen readers (improving)

4. How to Report Issues

Found something inaccessible? Let us know:

  • Email: accessibility@qualitygrillparts.com
  • Subject line: "Accessibility Issue: [page URL]"
  • Include: the page where you encountered the issue, what assistive technology you were using (screen reader, voice control, etc.), and what specifically didn't work.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and resolve issues within 30 days.

5. Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility

We test the Site with:

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
  • VoiceOver (macOS, iOS)
  • NVDA (Windows)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • 200% browser zoom

If you use specific assistive technology and encounter issues, please report them so we can test and fix.

6. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is a continuous process, not a one-time project. We commit to:

  • Reviewing accessibility on every new page we publish
  • Auditing existing pages periodically for accessibility regressions
  • Implementing improvements based on user feedback
  • Updating this statement as our practices evolve
